In contrast to the high rise clutter and non-stop action of Surfers Paradise and beyond, Calypso Plaza really is something very special for couples or families looking for a fun, safe, friendly and calming holiday environment. It's the new paradise on the Gold Coast.
The gardens and outdoor areas are a tropical paradise. The Gold Coast's largest landscaping contract was awarded to transform the grounds of the resort into a lush tropical haven. The focal point of the resort is a 50 sq. metre freeform lagoon pool featuring an artificial rock island with two carved rock slides. Including the rock island in the resort's design was to add a fun element to the area, emphasising the family nature of the resort.

However, it is important to note, that Classic Holidays can not, under any circumstances, guarantee requests for particular apartments, view, levels, etc. There will be no refunds or room moves granted due to requested apartments not being allocated.
Classic Holidays wish to advise that there is a project commencing April 2004 and due to be completed August 2005. This construction is located on the block of land diagonally across the road from the Beachcomber International Resort, and next to Calypso Plaza on the corner of McDonald and Griffiths Streets Coolangatta. We understand that the development will comprise of a 20 storey high rise apartment tower and commercial premises. Please note that there may be some noise during construction.
