The Sunshine Coast is a popular destination offering something for everyone. The coastline from Bribie Island, Caloundra, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Coolum through to Noosa Head is world class, with panoramic seascapes and inviting shorelines for surfing, sports or just lazing on the beach.
Caloundra is the southern gateway to the Sunshine Coast, a city of some 29,000. Caloundra is said to mean ‘the beautiful place’ in the language of the Aboriginal people who lived there.
It is set near a headland with four top surfing beaches on one side – including Kings Beach – and Golden Beach at the northern entrance to the Pumicestone Channel on the other. Caloundra is very popular with families. There are plenty of places youngsters can swim safely and good surf for mum and dad. Caloundra is a big town with plenty of cafes and restaurants.

Late Arrivals : If you expect to arrive late for check in, please ensure you telephone the resort (on the above number) prior to arriving to make arrangements for the key.
Pacific View Resort is carrying out a full lift replacement in 2008. This will take commence on the 29th January 2008 and is expected to be completed by the 21st March 2008. During this period there will be no lift available for guests at the resort. The resort has three levels of accommodation - all of which have stairs to climb during this period. Any persons booked during this period should be aware of expected noise factors.
