Lakeside Country Club Resort Managers

Originally from WA, John and Tracey have spent the past few years traveling through every state and territory in Australia with their two daughters and were previously the Resort Managers at Holiday Concepts’ Regent Park Apartments.

Tracey made the move in June 2025, with her husband joining her in November as they began an exciting new chapter as the Resort Managers at Lakeside Country Club.

They couldn’t be happier, both stating they love ‘meeting interesting people and seeing some amazing locations.’

The resort has quickly become home. ‘You can do as little or as much as you like. We have some amazing on-site amenities which allows you to spend all day lounging, or you can head out and see some of our local attractions which are only a short drive away.’

Numurkah itself is a charming small country town with a rich history which is on display at the local museum, along with some great street artwork.

Tracey and John also recommend visiting Cactus Country. ‘It’s fantastic, particularly when in bloom, and we never knew there were so many different types of cacti.’

‘Their frozen margarita and cactus ice cream are fantastic as well.’ John adds.

‘If you are ok with a little nighttime adventure, Bullanginya Dreaming is amazing with an interpretive light and sound show as you walk through a forest.'

They recommend a vehicle during your stay. ‘Whilst we are walking distance to town, a lot of our local attractions are a short drive away.’
