Our beach is surfing mecca and you won’t go for an early morning coffee run without seeing the enthusiasm of eager surfers hauling their boards to the water. Pandanas Café or Fuel bakery are the perfect place for breakfast and coffee in the morning as you sink back in your chair forgetting about everything bar your holiday. If you’re after a change up, head to Caba Social or Kartel which both serve superb coffee too. You could really spend the whole day at the beach if you wanted to and why not? You’re on holiday after all. Have sushi, a sandwich, a good old fashioned pie or sausage roll for lunch then head back to the beach when, as the sun sets, you pivot to the Beach Bar. Simply bliss. Life can’t get better, right?
It’s not all just beach though and it’s not just about Caba. There’s just so much to do! It’s 40 minutes north to the Gold Coast theme parks and Byron Bay is 30 minutes south and nearly just as picturesque. Cruise the rivers and fish, sip delicious tea at the Madura Tea Estates, visit Tropical Fruit World, kayak or paddle board from Cudgen Creek, walk to Norries Headland and spot some whales or dolphins or hit up Mt Warning Tours who will take you cruising along the Tweed. If you want to venture out somewhere different for food and a beverage, Kingscliff is 10 minutes away and again, the views are breathtaking. If you feel like burning off some holiday calories, the ride to Kingscliff from Caba is simply stunning.
