You can learn about the old days at PS Marion in Mannum or take a 2-hour twilight cruise on the PS Oscar W paddle steamer at Goolwa Wharf. Drive the South Coast Tourist Route 5, enjoy the Goolwa tourist walk, go kayaking, canoeing or take an Eco Tour, visit the Goolwa Animal Farm or Goolwa Barrage, relax at Horseshoe Bay or Basham Beach or marvel at the River Dolls of Goolwa. Jump on the Cockle Train or enjoy the Coorong Cruise. The beach is simply brilliant. If you love your fishing, this is your area! The list is endless.
Currency Creek, Middleton, Port Elliot, Strathalbyn and Hindmarsh Island and the aforementioned Victor Harbor are all close by as well. You will have something to do every single day if you want to be on the go all the time!

The Adelaide Oval is 75 minutes from Goolwa so Marine Cove is most certainly a place you can base yourself if you want to combine a holiday with cheering on your football team or watching a day of cricket.
