Rod & Sarah are proud parents to 3 children and 2 grandchildren who are all looking forward to visiting them in Hobart.

“We managed Regent Park in 2019/20 and loved the experience. We found Holiday Concepts a great company to work for. We think Tasmania is a fabulous place to visit and explore and we really enjoy interacting with resort guests helping them plan their experiences whilst staying with us. As we are a smaller resort, we get the opportunity to connect with all our guests which is something we really enjoy.”

“The position of the resort is excellent, the central position in Sandy Bay is perfect for accessing all the local restaurants and waterfront and also a short walk into Salamanca and the city. The BBQ area on the top floor has great views of the Derwent River and is a nice place to relax after a day out.”

Rod’s favourite day trip is hiking around the Port Arthur area. Cape Raoul and Cape Hauy are his favourites. A favourite restaurant in the local area is Da Angelo, an Italian restaurant at Battery Point.

Sarah’s favourite place to visit is Maria Island and do the great hikes and see the wombats and wildlife. Too hard to limit her favourite restaurant to one as she says Hobart has so many great places to eat.
